Heather Watkins, a native of Hartsville, South Carolina, received her BA from Coker College with a major in performance and choreography. She has been a member of TWP since 2007. She was a member of Charlotte, North Carolina’s Kinetic Works Dance Company. While in college she traveled Europe to edify herself about dance around the world, visiting dance companies such as The Netherlands Dance Theatre, The Maurice Bejart School, and viewing performances from The International Contemporary Dance Festival in Venice, Italy. Watkins has also been a ballet instructor for one of Hartsville, South Carolinas local dance schools for two years.
