Elsie Chipo Mufuka is a native of Beaufort, SC but her roots came from Zimbabwe, Africa. Currently, she is a candidate for a BA in Dance and Communications at Coker College. At Coker, she has been taking dance residencies with Rhythm Jazz Project, Patty Anderson, Eric Blare,Travis Gatling, and Amy Marshall. She has extended her dance study in Bantu dancing for her senior thesis in Spring 2008 at Panjea Bantu Camp in New Mexico and has recently joined The Wanda Project Dance Company in December 2007.
